Lorex Connect 2K Dual-Lens Indoor Pan-Tilt Wi-Fi Camera.

Phase 1: Physical Setup & Placement

Before powering anything on, decide where you want to place the camera. You have two primary options:

• Tabletop Placement: Simply place the camera on a flat, stable surface like a shelf, counter, or nightstand.

• Ceiling Mounting: Secure the included mounting bracket to your ceiling using the provided screws and anchors, then twist the camera base into the bracket until it clicks into place.

Phase 2: Powering On

1. Connect the included power cable to the back of the camera.

2. Plug the other end into the provided supply block and insert it into a standard wall outlet.

3. Wait a moment for the camera to initialize. The status LED will blink, and the pan-tilt lens will rotate automatically to calibrate.

Phase 3: App & Wi-Fi Connection

1. Download and install the Lorex Connect App on your smartphone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Open the app and sign in (or create a new account if you don’t have one).

3. Tap the + (Add) icon in the app to add a new device.

4. Scan the QR code located on the bottom or back of your camera.

5. Follow the on-screen app prompts to connect the camera to your local Wi-Fi network. (Make sure you are connected to a compatible Wi-Fi band, usually 2.4GHz).

Important Setup Notes & Tips

• MicroSD Storage: If you plan on recording locally, make sure to insert a compatible surveillance-grade MicroSD card (not included) into the slot before mounting it out of reach.

• Avoid Windows: Do not point this camera through a window to look outside. The infrared lights will reflect off the glass, ruining your night vision and interfering with motion detection.

• App Features: Once connected, you can use the app to activate Privacy Mode, use the 2-Way Talk feature, or turn on the smart person and pet tracking.
