Netgear WN3000RPv2 WiFi Range Extender:
🔧 Basic Setup via Web Browser
- Plug It In
- Place the extender halfway between your router and the area with weak signal.
- Plug it into a wall outlet and wait for the Power LED to turn solid green.
- If it doesn’t power on, press the Power button on the side.
- Connect to the Extender
- On your laptop, phone, or tablet, connect to the Wi-Fi network named:
NETGEAR_EXT
- Once connected, the Client Link LED should light up.
- On your laptop, phone, or tablet, connect to the Wi-Fi network named:
- Launch Setup
- Open a browser and go to:
- The Netgear Genie setup page will appear.
- Follow the prompts to:
- Select your existing Wi-Fi network
- Enter your router’s Wi-Fi password
- Choose whether to use the same security settings
- Finalize
- After setup, reconnect your device to the new extended network.
- Look for a confirmation page and blinking Arrow LEDs indicating success.
